If you answered “yes” to any or all of the above questions, you have experienced a potential opportunity to generate funding for our school! Last year, the eSCRIP program raised enough to give each teacher approximately $23 per student for educational supplies used in the classrooms.
These following programs provide easy and different ways to support WLE through everyday purchases. These programs incur NO cost to you, and have the potential to yield a remarkable benefit to our school!
SCRIP - The SCRIP program allows you to support Westlake Elementary through your daily purchases. SCRIP is simply the gift cards from national and local retailers that you use for things like groceries, gas, clothing, etc.
Participating retailers agree to sell gift cards to our organization at a discount. You simply buy the gift cards at face value from us, just like you would at any store, and we receive a portion of what you spend. The discount earned ranges between 1.5% and 26% of the face value of the gift cards, and is passed on to Westlake Elementary. The exact percentage is listed next to the item on the SCRIP order form.
eSCRIP - Electronic SCRIP (eSCRIP) is a way to donate to our school when you make a purchase from participating vendors at using your credit, debit, merchant or grocery card. A percentage of the purchases made are donated directly to us.
· eSCRIP GROCERY - A great big THANK YOU to VONS
for their contribution of nearly $6000 to our classrooms through the eSCRIP program for the 2011-2012 academic year! During the 2010-2011, the VONS/Safeway Year-to-Date Contributions from Supporters of Westlake Elementary School were $2125.93.

· eSCRIP DINING – You love to dine out. You may even do it several times a week. So why not satisfy your stomach and fulfill your need to give something back to our school? After you've registered your debit and credit cards, dine out at a restaurant on our program. At the end of each month, the group(s) you've chosen will receive up to 5% of what you've spent on your dining bill!
