Welcome! As a parent of Westlake Elementary School, you are a part of of the Parent Faculty Association. All parents are encouraged to participate! The goal of the PFA is to unite the efforts of our parents and educators to promote the growth of our children. Our mission is to empower, enrich and equip the education of the students at Westlake Elementary.

There are several ways to get involved:

ATTEND our monthly PFA meetings.  Meeting times are posted on the announcement board visible from the pick-up line. Notes from the meetings are included in the Weekly Wire for those who can’t attend. Feel free to bring your little ones to the meeting. We’re all parents and are used to accomplishing much with the chatter of kids in the background.

VOLUNTEER! It takes an army to accomplish our many initiatives.  People to plan events, write grants, program facilitators, handle communication are all needed. There are multiple positions available for those who aren’t on campus regularly or can’t attend our monthly meetings too. Our volunteer coordinator can answer any questions you may have.

Make your DIRECT DONATION! The Direct Donation program relies on 100% participation of Westlake Elementary families. For those generous families who are able to donate more than the suggested amount of $225 per student, we thank you! Annual direct donation equates to just $1.25 per day of the 180 days of instruction. This program keeps the many state budget cuts to education from being felt in the classrooms of Westlake Elementary!

Although we don’t have a door, we do have an open door policy. New ideas are always welcome!
